Organisational Profiling

Organisational Profiling provides information about the organisation. It is a general mix of elements found in Organisational Learning and Organisational Culture models but enables the Facilitator to obtain a good overview of the type of organisation.

Department Managers can use this over time to evaluate changes (and improvements or digressions) in areas such as attitudes, operating styles and motivational aspects performance in the work place. It is worth looking up the Members Library Toolkit section to download the organisational profiling tools.

This is useful in Change or Transformation programmes where changes in vision or strategic direction also require changes in the way an organisation operates, along with the skills and capabilities needed to make the transition.

It has been used successfully to develop individuals within teams over time and to raise team performance along with team and individual competencies (see Competency Profiling and/or Training Needs Analysis)
