Achieving the best performance from people is about getting the whole facilitation process right. It is not about simply bringing a group of people togeher for a quick brainstorming session to produce a set of ideas. It combines creativity with structure, flexibility with discipline. Facilitation involves design, delivery and completion elements without compromising peoples time or quality of outputs. It is about shaping the values and thoughts of a team or nurturing positive interactions within a group to achieve a desired outcome. Effective Facilitation may involve the use of performance evauation and knowledge generation methods or creative modeling techniques. By consistent approaches to coaching groups and mentoring individuals, participants will be motivated to support the outcomes.
